Follow these steps and create your own Apple Developer Account to successfully launch your iOS app
Just like Google, Apple has also made it mandatory to have an Apple Developers Account to publish an app on the Apple Store. If you are trying to publish your app on the Apple store, you’ll need access to their developers account. Don’t worry the process is very simple and we are here to guide you.
Step 1: Use this link (https://developer.apple.com/enroll/. ) to get to the Apple Developer Account enrollment page. Login with your Apple ID, if you don’t have one, go and get yours for free.
Step 2: After logging into the Apple Developer enrollment page you will get to the Terms and Conditions page. Click on the check mark below the terms and conditions and then click on Submit.
Step 3: Doing so will take you to the Apple Developer dashboard. There you can see a section that says “Join the Apple Developer program”. Click on it to proceed.
Step 4: On the right top corner you can ﬁnd the “Enroll” button click on it.
Step 5: You’ll now see a bunch of instructions and guidelines for enrolling in the developer program. Scroll down to the bottom and click on Start your Enrollment
Step 6: Later part will ask you for the personal information, enter it and conﬁrm it.
Click on Continue once you’re done.
Step 7: This next screen will ask you to enter the entity type. Usually people select the Company/Organization as an entity. You can select it too if you have a proper registered company. Or else if you are running a business based on Sole Proprietorship, select the option that reads – “Individual / Sole Proprietor/ Single Person Business”
From the list select entity type that’s applicable to you and hit Continue
If You Creating An Individual/Sole Proprietor Account
Step 1: Accept their policies by clicking on the check box below the agreement, and click Continue
Step 2: Verify the details and click on Purchase.
Note: Apple Developer account enrollment costs $99 a year
Step 3: Give in your payment details
Enter the billing address and click on Continue
Step 4: Finally, enter your personal information and click on Continue
Once your payment is complete, you will receive an e-mail from Apple requesting you to activate your account. Note that it may take 48 hours. Click the link in the email to activate it.
Once you click the activation link, your developer account will be activated.
If You Are Creating A Company/Organization Account
Step 1: You’ll see an enrollment checklist. Go through it and click on Continue
Step 2: Enter your organization details and your DUNS number, and click on Continue
If you don’t have the DUNS number, click the link https://developer.apple.com/enroll/duns-lookup/#/search and get it for free by ﬁlling in your company details.
Step 3: Enter all the details requested of you
Step 4: Conﬁrm your authority to create the developer account on behalf of your organization and click on Continue
Once done you will be taken to the conﬁrmation page. You will also receive an email containing your enrollment ID. Watch out for a veriﬁcation phone call as well from Apple. Once everything is ﬁnalized, you’ll receive a link to the payment page.
Make the payment and that’s it! Now you have an Apple Developer Account.
